Super Saturday Sale and Our Life in a Year June 29, 2012

Filed under: Uncategorized — Christie @ 11:59 pm

This week I got to work with an adorable kit by Adriana’s Cafe, Our Life in a Year: May.

Well, sort of…. Turns out it’s actually Our Life in a Year: MARCH that’s on sale at Scraps-n-Pieces’ Super Saturday Sale and that I was supposed to work with.  Whoops.

On the plus side, both kits are quite cute!  😉  And I do have a page with a super cute baby girl to show you!  😉

Isn’t she a doll?!

The May kit is so adorable, though – great for Mother’s Day and any girl pictures with its soft papers and elements. Actually, I couldn’t help but think of my mother-in-law because the kit has these really pretty pinks and greens, and that’s my mother-in-law’s favorite color combination.

May (but March is cute, too! 😉 )

So check out Adriana Cafe’s store at Scraps-n-Pieces and the Super Saturday Sale (Wow, that’s a lot of alliteration!) and pick up the March piece to Our Life in a Year, then check out her May kit as well! 😉

Our Life in a Year: June (and a freebie) June 26, 2012

Filed under: Uncategorized — Christie @ 10:55 pm

I know some of you have been waiting for your freebie, so I apologize for the delay – our internet has been frustratingly slow this week.

But on to brighter things – like this new kit from Adriana’s Cafe, Our Life in a Year: June. Check it out!

Fun, right?  The kit is filled with such bright, bold colors – quite summery, really, and perfect for June!  Here’s a page I made with it…

Sigh.  They’re so little and cute, aren’t they?

….And as a reminder to myself of the fact that they will be too big before I know it, I made a little printable of the poem on the page – and I have a freebie printable to share with you, too.  You can download it here.

The kit will be on sale at both Stuff to Scrap and Scraps-n-Pieces for $2.50 this week, so get it while you can for that price, then get scrapping!  🙂

Splish Splash Summer Bash Collab (and a Fun Freebie!) June 15, 2012

Filed under: Uncategorized — Christie @ 9:00 am

Just in time for summer, Mommy Made This and Adriana’s Cafe have teamed up to bring you Splish Splash Summer Bash, a huge collab featuring all things summer (There’s even some watermelon in there!).  Mommy Made This even made TWO kits for the collab – Splish Splash Pool Bash and Splish Splash Beach Bash.  The colors are fun and bright, and all of the kits are full of elements and colorful papers.  Pick up all of them and you will have a huge collab that you can use for scrapping all your summer events!  Check out some pages I made and the kits (and if you stick around to the end, you’ll find a fun freebie!).

 And here are the kits….

You can pick up each of these great kits at Stuff to Scrap or Scraps-n-Pieces.  Pick up the kits from Mommy Made This – on sale for the relase! – here at STS or here at SNP.  Adriana’s kits can be found here at STS or here at SNP – and for the first week (through next Friday), her kit is on sale for $3.00 – and you get a FREE add-on!  What’s not to love about free??  You can also pick up a couple really huge cardstock packs from each of them at the store.

…And speaking of free, here’s a fun little freebie for you. Just insert your own photo and text to make a postcard you can mail. I rather like mailing postcard pictures (Well, that and I couldn’t resist using these cute little poke-your-hole-through-the-picture things from the kit, so I had to find a way to use them!)- so much fun for the receiver to get (and it breaks up the monotony of delivering bills for the mailman, too! 😉 ). Just slap a stamp and the address on the back and write a quick note and you’re finished – a fun little glimpse of your summer for the recipient. Of course, you may want to keep one to frame for yourself!

You can download the postcard here. Leave a comment if you download (or if it DOESN’T download! I’ve been having some problems with my downloads.) – and go enjoy your summer… and get scrapping! 😉
