A belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  Mommy Made This has a Thanksgiving themed kit for scrapping all your photos of this weekend (or Thanksgivings past, as I’m still playing catch up!).

Thankful is 40% off from Nov 25th to Dec 1st.

Here are some layouts to inspire you from the CT’s for Mommy Made This:

And here’s a freebie thank you card (It’s sized at 8×6 so that it folds into a 4×6 card.):

You can pick up the kit at Scraps-n-Pieces.

Fall is in the Air (and a Fall Printable Freebie) November 17, 2012

Fall is in the air – or at least in most parts of the country and in the scrapbooking kits I’ve gotten to work with! Mommy Made This has a cute fall themed kits out, and if you stick around, I have some freebie printables for you that you can use for your fall decorations or Thanksgiving celebration.

All the fall colors and leaves in this kit really made me long for fall. In fact, the layout I made is mostly a journaling one lamenting our lack of fall….

The kit is great for scrapping pictures of playing in the leaves, orchard visits, hayrides, nature walks and so much more.  You can pick it up at Scraps-n-Pieces.

Since part of my layout is a bucket list of sorts for fall, I made a fall printable freebie for you. You can frame it and use it as a bucket list of your own and write your list with dry erase markers, as is the latest craze, or you could even use it to write your Thanksgiving menu on, either on the computer or by printing it out and handwriting on it. There are two downloads – you can get one with the word “Fall” on it here, or you can get it without words here.

Back to School! (And a freebie homeschool/ school printable!) August 19, 2012

Just in time for back to school, Mommy Made This and Amy’s Designs have teamed up to bring this fun school themed kit.  There are plenty of fun elements and papers in these two kits, and they work great together.  Check out the page I made with it.   Living in Africa doesn’t provide too many opportunities for Grandpa and Grandma to read stories to the kids, but one day Grandpa and Grandma read some bedtime stories to Judah, and now it’s something he begs for.  (Next up: Virtual babysitting!  😉 )  I had so much fun making this page!

Here are the kits, which can be picked up at Scraps-n-Pieces (both of them 50% off the first week!).

…And finally – I made a printable that can be used for homeschooling or to decorate a homework area.  One has a Bible verse – “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (a good reminder of me of our priorities in schooling!) – but I also made a blank one that you can add your own verse or quote to, or even laminate and use as a homework planner or whatever.  I threw in a freebie word art of the Bible verse, too – it’s a bit fancier looking than the one of the printable; I decided I wanted something a little more “fun” for the printable, but hey, maybe someone can use the word art, so download that if you want.  You can download them here.  Any comments would be appreciated!  🙂  (Also, please let me know if the download doesn’t work – I’m trying something new and hoping it works!)

Mommy Made This has a new kit out, Alphabet Zoo.  The colors are so much fun!  The kit is great for zoo pics, school pics and works for boy or girl pictures and has lots of elements.  Check it out!

Cute, right?? 🙂

In honor of Grandpa and Grandma “Plane” coming to visit us next week (Yay!), here’s a page I made with the kit of The Great Lizard Hunt of 2010.  😉

Great elements and papers in the kit!  Here’s another brighter page.

The kit and cardstocks (and there are a LOT of papers in the cardstock pack!) are on sale at Stuff to Scrap and Scraps-n-Pieces through May 17, so you still have a couple more days to grab it at a reduced cost!

Earth Day, Every Day April 11, 2012

Cuteness.

I got to work with this adorable kit from Mommy Made This – Earth Day, Every Day. I LOVE the colors of this kit. I don’t know what it is about them, but I seriously have been opening up the preview just to look at the kit and the colors. I feel so… peaceful. (I know – how Earth Day of me, right? 😉 ) The soft blues, green and browns are just perfect together.

I really like the globe papers and element, too – perfect for this page I’ve been wanting to do with the story of how God called me into missions.

Next in line for this kit is a page with some cute photos of some really cute babies in cloth diapers.  🙂

…But even if you don’t have cute photos of babies in cloth diapers, the colors of this kit work great with all kinds of photos, and there are lots of neutral elements in the kit, too, so the kit’s not just for Earth Day.   Pick it up at Stuff to Scrap or Scraps-n-Pieces, and check out the coordinating cardstock to complete the kit, too!
