Some More Pages Before Baby Comes! February 21, 2011

It’s amazing how much one can get done when Daddy takes Judah to play ultimate for an afternoon and Judah has a THREE HOUR NAP (Can you say, “Hallelujah!!!”??!) the next day.  Whoo hoo.

Today’s naptime page:  (No, it didn’t take me 3 hours to do this.  I DO actually do other things besides scrap, you know.  😉  )

Helper Judah! This is a page I've been meaning to do for a while and finally did. (A hodge podge of supplies used, including paper from The Scrappy Kat's Happy Birthday to Me and Bible word art from Precepts and Promises)

Journaling at top: We’re so glad that you like to help so much, as there are definitely plenty of chances to do so living in Nigeria!  Before eating any raw fruits or vegetables, we have to soak them in treated water, and you love to plop food into the water and take it out.  (Of course you also like to PLAY in the water, so sometimes Mommy has to take over!)  You are so willing to help, and it is such fun watching all the things you can do. We pray that you will always enjoy helping and that you’ll be a young man who serves others joyfully.

Snippets of some recent conversations with Judah….  (Click on the page to view larger and read the journaling about our clever little boy.  😉  )

Kit: Lil' Boys, The Scrappy Kat. Temaplate and quotation marks: Paislee Press

Yesterday I even made a double page spread about my childhood homes, but I need to get some more pictures from my parents.  Again.

And some more past pages:

Left side of double page. Siesta Key in Sarasota. Only the most beautiful beach I've ever seen.

Right side of Siesta Key page. Kit: Summer Surprises Blog Train, Mad Genius Designs

Everyone says he looks like Chris.... (Kit from Shabby Princess)

Way more about me than you'll ever want to know (but click for larger view if you ARE curious 😉 ). But hey, maybe my kids will one day want to know how much I liked the smell of freshly cut grass. Kit: Funkytown by The Scrappy Kat.

Well, I suppose that’s enough for now.
